Vocabulary

Dear great students,

A good reservoir of vocabulary will definitely flavor your writing and take your conversation to a most impressive level. Words are considered the essential bricks for a strong foundation in building your English language house. Constant reading and listening to different sources of interest to you will eventually enrich and enhance your vocabulary bank.

Just extensively expose yourself to English through watching TV English programs, reading books and newspapers, listening to the radio or to your  beloved audio files on your MP3 or iPhone….Just do whatever you believe is good for you to improve your language and polish your skills. Do please remember that it is never impossible to be a fluent speaker and reader in English as long as you keep in mind the four golden Ps =  Perseverance +Practice+ Patience + Passion .

It has been said that……

Henry Hazlitt

“A man with a scant vocabulary will almost certainly be a weak thinker. The richer and more copious one’s vocabulary and the greater one’s awareness of fine distinctions and subtle nuances of meaning, the more fertile and precise is likely to be one’s thinking. Knowledge of things and knowledge of the words for them grow together. If you do not know the words, you can hardly know the thing.”
― Henry Hazlitt
“As vocabulary is reduced , so are the number of feelings you can express, the number of events you can describe, the number of the things you can identify! Not only understanding is limited, but also experience. Man grows by language. Whenever he limits language he retrogresses!”
― Sheri S. Tepper
